“Was Mathias zu der Namensgebung dieser Scheibe und seiner Songs geführt hat, wissen wir nicht (Autobiographisches begegnet einem ja eher bei Literaten). Doch das Teil hier ist alles andere als unterentwickelt. Das Titelstück gleicht einem heftigen Gewitter, das alle Schleusen öffnen. Mit brachialer Urgewalt hämmert der Beat unerbittlich, Synthies rauschen Sturmwinden gleich durch die Landschaft und brechen sich an Fels und allem im Weg stehenden. Diese Komposition führt Techno auf seinen ursprünglichen Gedanken von Härte, Technik und Sich-In-In-Trance-Tanzen zurück. Gewaltig. “You Better Have Muscles“ rollt hart, wirkt reduzierter, minimalistischer angelegt und erinnert an die gute detroit’sche Verfahrensweise. Nicht neu, aber gut. Mit ein paar klanglichen Gimmicks, einem funky rollenden Bass und einer frechen HiHat beendet “Spook“ diesen Burner. Rooobert …. 10 Points.”
